- This is England's of street music and its a sub-genre of Hip-hop, as it is slightly different requiring high tempo beats and obviously the distinct slang and British accent. Its usually associated with council estates, track suits, drug dealing yet, like hip-hop, has a political side to it.

- This is a genre that stemmed from Jazz but modernised and slower and has specific subject matters this music is usually associated with sex, love, passion and also just heavily emotional. They are mostly love songs.
- Artist example would be Frank ocean
- The punk music genre is similar to the rock genre how ever its a bit more loud and has specific subect matters genre its usually associated with drug taking, violence and partying

- Pop stands for popular music and is the music that is listen to by the main stream audience and has a lot of radio air time this genre consist of simple lyrics. usually associated with partying and fashion.
